2017 Bremont U2/T For Timeless Limited Edition 43mm
Here we have a 2017 Bremont U2/T For Timeless Limited Edition, limited to just 100 pieces, one of their first collaborations with Texas-based Timeless Luxury Watches, inspired by World War II pilot watches. Featuring a sculpted 43mm brushed hardened stainless steel round case uses the Bremont Trip-Tick construction system made up of 3 parts: a hardened steel bezel, a middle section bronze PVD barrel and finally, a steel case back, and a 49.5mm lug-to-lug length and a case thickness of 14.5mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence, and on the right side, at 2 o'clock, a screw-down crown to adjust the time and date and at 4 o'clock, a screw-down crown capped with a USAF-inspired star, for adjusting the bidirectional 12-hour Roto-Click bezel, both have deep knurling making gripping them even with gloves on a satisfying experience. The brushed hardened bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal with AR coating on both sides, significantly reducing reflections. The gunmetal grey no-date dial features thick beige-coloured Super-LumiNova-coated Arabic numerals and batons for the hours and blued-steel sword-shaped watch hands, alongside a blued-steel sweeping seconds hand with a red arrow tip. At noon, we have the Bremont motif, completing this striking vintage-inspired pilot's watch. On the reverse, a stainless steel screwed-in by six-screws is engraved with the details of the watch and its limited number, inside suspended between a rubber sandwich, we have the movement; this acts as a Faraday cage, making it both anti-magnetic and very shock absorbent. A Bremont automatic BE-36AE, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour COSC certified to ISO 3159 standard, made up of an Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring with a moulded skeletonised rotor. The watch is paired with a 22mm Bremont leather strap with a signed buckle, along with its Bremont presentation box, travel pouch, COSC Certificate and paperwork.
