Here we have a Near NOS 1996 Ebel Le Modulor Chronograph Black 9137241; this creative line of watches celebrates the Ebel founding date of 1911. Its curvaceous 39mm brushed stainless steel case has rounded tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 11mm ensure a comfortable fit on your wrist. Down the right side, we have the chronograph pushers and a recessed crown in the centre with deep knurling for grip and a slot in the top to mimic the five screws surrounding the smooth polished bezel, a nice detail touch. A flat crystal sits above a striking black and grey sector dial. A black outer Tachymetre chapter ring surrounds a grey precisely executed minute track above polished applied Roman numerals coated in marking the hours; at 3 o’clock, we have a 30-minute register; between 4 and 5, a colour-matched date window; at 6 o’clock, a 12-hour register and finally at 9 o’clock a small seconds register, each ring in a contrasting grey with a white stick hand.
