Here we have a 2023 Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition 25707KN, released in 2022. This is the first time Tudor has ventured into competitive yacht racing with the help of the Alinghi Red Bull Racing Team. It is engineered using the latest technology in composite materials such as Carbon, Titanium, and stainless steel, as used on their America’s Cup 75 hydrofoil racing yacht. The curvaceous 42mm black Carbon Fibre composite case curves over your wrist with tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 50mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed titanium screw-down crown with deep knurling for grip. A 120-click bidirectional Titanium bezel has a coin edge for grip and a matte black carbon 60-minute scale, holding a flat sapphire crystal above a matte blue dial. The sloping minute chapter ring has “Alinghi Red Bull Racing” printed around its edge, applied 3-dimensional luminous monobloc ceramic Triangle, square and rectangle indexes mark the hours, characteristic Tudor “Snowflake” hands filled with SuperLumiNova are complemented by a red sweeping second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the Tudor motif at 6 o’clock a red “Pelagos” “Chronometer Officially Certified 200m-660ft” complete this racing themed sports dive watch.
