Here we have a 2024 Grand Seiko GMT Quartz 9F Black SBGN027G with an impressively sculptured 39mm stainless steel case, exquisitely Zaratsu polished and brushed surfaces transition with crisp edges and curve over your wrist toward the drilled lugs, leading to a lug-to-lug of 45mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm to give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed crown sitting slightly recessed, and a 24-hour bezel holds a dual-curved sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, which sits above a black dial. An outer 24-hour chapter ring in black and silver, featuring 12-hour sections that indicate night and day hours, surrounds applied Zaratsu-polished, chamfered-edge batons and trapezoid indexes marking the hours. The indexes magically play with the light as you rotate your wrist. At 4 o’clock, a date window features a white background and black numerals. Elegant Dauphine hands are Zaratsu polished with razor-sharp edges, a tapered second hand, and an arrow hand indicating the 24-hour position.
