Here we have a contemporary re-edition 2024 Certina DS PH200M Automatic Black C036.407.11.050.01 with a 43mm stainless steel case that curves over your wrist thanks to the tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 51.5mm and a case thickness of 12mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side, a signed screw-down crown with deep knurling. The unidirectional stainless steel bezel has a convex ceramic insert with the engraved 60-minute scale in aged Super-LumiNova, resembling the Bakelite inserts found on the original. The sapphire crystal AR coated sits above a black crosshair dial.  An outer minute track surrounds baton indexes coated in Super-LumiNova marking the hours; at 3 o’clock, a framed date window and gold-toned sword hands are filled with lume and complemented by a white arrow pointed sweeping second hand; at noon, we have the Certina motif “Automatic” printed underneath and at 6 o’clock “DS PH200M” completes this vintage-inspired dive sports watch. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back with the details engraved around the edge, inside an automatic Powermatic Cal. 80.611, 25 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour, based on the ETA 2824-2 architecture with hand winding and hacking seconds.
