2023 Studio Underd0g 01Series Chronograph Desert Sky 38.5mm
Here we have a 2023 Studio Underd0g 01Series Chronograph Desert Sky, featuring a 38.5mm polished and brushed stainless steel case. The elegant tapered curved lugs have a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 13mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side are a signed crown and the square chronograph pushers. The bevel-edged, polished smooth bezel holds a double-domed sapphire crystal above the striking Desert Sky dial. Made up of 2 layers: a satin sandblasted base layer and a coarse-textured light blue centre layer that graduates from a pale blue in the centre to a slightly darker outer edge. An outer Tachymetre is precisely printed against the tan-coloured layer. The hour indexes are black pips; at 3 o’clock, a large 30-minute register made up of varied hues of tan-coloured segments and a black stick hand; at 9 o’clock, the small second register in pale blue with a concentric circular pattern. The slender sword hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, complemented by an orange-tipped chronograph hand. Text is precisely applied with the bold Studio Underd0g motif sitting proudly off-centre. The combination of colour and textures makes this Bi-Compax a pleasure to wear. On the reverse, is a screw-down exhibition sapphire crystal case back. Inside a manually wound Seagull Cal. ST-1901 is a true workhorse of a movement that uses the technical drawings of the Swiss Venus calibre 175, but is made in China. Its simple decoration adds interest to both the front and back of this watch. It comes paired with its original 20mm The Strap Tailor strap and pin buckle. This watch is sold with its original Studio Underd0g box, travel pouch and paperwork.
