2023 Ming 22.01 GMT GILT Automatic 38mm Titanium

Here we have a 2023 Ming 22.01 GMT GILT Automatic Titanium with a 38mm Grade 5 Titanium sculpted case that curves over your wrist with the characteristic flared scalloped lugs. With the increase in global travel, Ming wanted to bring back a GMT watch that had not been seen yet. A lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 11mm ensure a comfortable fit; the monobloc case is completely milled out to fit the movement perfectly without the need for a spacer ring. A signed crown with deep knurling for extra grip is on the right side. The bevel-edged brushed and polished smooth concave bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal double-sided AR coated above a multi-layered dial, a dark cyan outer ring and a dark gold coloured centre dial. The 24-hour GMT chapter ring has Gilt numerals and sits on top of a sapphire overlay on the grain-textured base metal dial, the floating appearance plays with the light as you rotate your wrist, and laser-etched hour indexes are applied to the underside of the crystal-coated in HyCeram X1 (a mixture of SuperLumiNova and Ceramic). The curvaceous hands are coated in SuperLumiNova X1 and are complemented by a tapered colour-coded GMT hand; at 12 o’clock, we have the Ming motif completing this dynamic dress watch. On the reverse a screwed-down exhibition case back with the details of the watch engraved around its edge, showcasing the automatic Ming Cal. 330M2, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, assembled by Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne in Switzerland; this movement is based on the Sellita SW330-2, a custom-finished skeletonised rotor and an independently adjusted GMT hand in hourly increments when you pull the crown out to its second position and turn it unidirectionally. The watch comes paired with a 20mm Jean Rousseau Paris barenia leather strap with a signed tuck buckle, and the watch comes with its Ming presentation box, travel pouch and papers.
