2022 Timex Waterbury HODINKEE Limited Edition
Here we have a 2022 Timex Waterbury HODINKEE Limited Edition, which is their second collaboration with HODINKEE after the success of the Q Timex HODINKEE Limited Edition. It is the first dive watch to be added to the Waterbury collection. The 40mm stainless steel case curves over your wrist with tapered lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm, ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, a push/pull crown signed with the Waterbury Clock Company logo, harking back to their beginnings. The unidirectional aluminium bezel has knurling around its edge for extra grip and a black insert with baton markers and a lumed pip at 12 o’clock holding a domed mineral glass crystal above a textured black dial. An outer minute chapter ring surrounds rounded printed Arabic numerals at 3, 6 and 9 and batons in between marking the hours, slender baton hands infilled with Super-LumiNova complemented by a striking bright red second hand. At 12 o’clock, we have the Timex motif and “HODINKEE” Waterbury printed at 6 o’clock, complete with this vintage-inspired dive tool watch. On the reverse, a screw-down case back, inside an automatic Miyota Cal. 8215, 21 jewels, beating at 21,600 beats per hour, this movement was first introduced in 1977. The watch comes fitted with its 20mm Timex leather strap with a signed buckle, and it comes with its Timex presentation box.
