2022 Seiko 5 'Kosuke Kawamura' SKX Limited Edition SRPJ41K1 42.5mm

Here we have a 2022 Seiko 5 'Kosuke Kawamura' SKX SRPJ41K1 Limited Edition 1185/3000 pieces. Made in collaboration with Japanese Graphic designer, art director, and collage artist Kosuke Kawamura, he has been inspired by various Seiko 5 references from the 1960s and 1970s. The 42.5mm curvaceous stainless steel case curves over your wrist, featuring thick, tapered, and drilled lugs. At 4 o’clock, we have the coin-edged crown protected by crown guards. The rotating bezel features double knurling for a secure grip, and it has a 60-minute scale with alternating silver and black markings. A hardlex crystal sits above a striking transparent day/night dial. It's a 60-minute chapter ring, precisely executed, that surrounds thin applied markers for the hours; at 3 o’clock, we have the Kanji/Eng day/date window. Slender hands filled with LumiBrite are complemented by an orange, tapered, sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the Seiko 5 motif and framed by a black band through the centre of the dial, “Automatic” completes this fusion of classic Seiko 5 Sports timepieces. On the reverse, an exhibition case back with smoked Hardlex, printed with the watch's details around its edge and Kosuke Kawamura's signature in the centre. Inside an Automatic Seiko Cal. 4R36, 24 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. This movement was released in Circa. 2011, with hacking and hand-winding for your convenience. Pull out the crown to the first position and rotate it anti-clockwise to change the date, and clockwise to change the day. Pull out the crown to its second position to set the hands. It comes paired with a 20mm brushed stainless steel bracelet, secured by a three-fold push-button release clasp featuring Kosuke Kawamura's signature; all links are provided. The watch comes with its original styled Seiko 5 presentation box and paperwork.
