2022 Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Lucerne Blue LE 36mm
Here we have a 2022 Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Lucerne Blue LE. Limited to 016/200 pieces. The 36mm 316L marine-grade stainless steel Light-catcher case has brushed and polished surfaces that transition with crisp edges catching the light as you rotate your wrist, hence the name. The watch's 42.5mm lug-to-lug length and 11mm case thickness give it an impressive wrist presence. A screw-down signed crown with an embossed Christopher Ward motif is on the right side. A circular brushed and polished smooth fixed bezel holds an anti-reflective sapphire crystal; above the Lucerne Blue polished lacquered dial, there is an outer minute track with printed Arabic numerals in white. Applied chamfer-edged diamond polished baton indexes with a Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1 strip down their centres. The polished edges catch the light in a magical way, at 6 o’clock a date window. Brushed and polished hands are filled with the same luminance complemented by a sweeping second hand complete with the characteristic Trident counterweight; at 12 o’clock, we have the Christopher Ward motif with white text at 6 o’clock, indicating its water resistance. This go-anywhere, do-everything watch is perfectly balanced. On the reverse, there is a screw-down exhibition case back with the details of the watch and a limited number engraved around its edge, inside an automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour, with a bespoke “Colimaçoné” finishing (a type of twisting sunray graining), the rotor has a double Twin-flag engraving across it. The watch comes fitted on a Christopher Ward 20mm stainless steel bracelet with a micro-adjustment ratchet clasp; all links are provided, and the watch also comes with its Christopher Ward presentation box and papers.
