2021 Seiko Prospex LX Spring Drive Titanium 45mm SNR031
Here we have a 2021 Seiko Prospex LX Spring Drive Titanium 45mm SNR031 released at Baselworld 2019. It is part of the high-end Prospex sports line of watches. A modern reinterpretation of the Marinemaster. Featuring a 45mm scratch-resistant black DLC-coated titanium case that curves over your wrist with thick tapered drilled lugs. Its chamfered curvaceous flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 50.5mm and a case thickness of 15.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. Zaratsu-polished and brushed surfaces transition with crisp, defined lines. At 4 o’clock, a large black DLC-coated screw-down crown with deep knurling is perfect for when you are wearing gloves. The hard-coated Titanium unidirectional bezel has deep knurling and a 60-minute engraved black ceramic insert holding a flat sapphire crystal AR-coated, which sits slightly inset below the bezel for added protection above a black dial. An outer minute chapter ring surrounds an applied disc and baton indexes filled with Lumibright, marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, a framed colour-matched date window, on the left side a 72-hour power reserve indicator, broad hour and slender minute hands filled with LumiBright are complemented by a lume counterweighted second hand. At noon, we have the Seio motif, and at 6 o’clock the Prospex logo, ‘Spring Drive Professional 300m’ completes this incredible stealth-infused high-end professional dive watch. On the reverse, a screw down case back is engraved with the details of the watch. Inside a Spring Drive Grand Seiko Cal. 5R65, the innovative Spring Drive movement which is mechanical, but with an electromagnetic escapement regulated by a quartz oscillator, it has 30 jewels and a power reserve of an impressive 72 hours, its sole power source is a mainspring that drives a series of gears, a rotor connected to the end of these gears generates a small electrical charge that activates an electronic circuit and quartz oscillator, therefore there is no need for a battery. It comes paired with two Seiko 22mm straps, one black silicone and one rubber and signed Titanium hardware. This watch is sold with its original Seiko box, swing tags and paperwork.
