The 37mm high-polished 316L stainless steel case curves over your wrist with a lug-to-lug length of 43.5mm and a case thickness of 11mm, ensuring a comfortable fit. Taking its design cues from the Art Deco timepieces of the past. On the right side is a domed crown. The polished smooth bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal, giving the illusion of the plexiglass crystals of the past. The beautiful shade of blue/green lacquered dial was hand-mixed by master watchmaker Hajime Asaoka-sensei at his studio in late 2020. Under different lighting conditions, the dial shimmers in the light as you rotate your wrist. An outer minute rail track is precisely printed. Three engraved concentric steel rings with four applied baton indexes catch the light mesmerisingly. Sculpted brushed hands complemented by a tapered teardrop balanced sweeping second-hand finishing this elegantly understated vision of Japanese creativity and sensibility.
