2006 Henrik Fisker x Rosendahl PCH Automatic 44mm
Here we have a rare first production 2006 Henrik Fisker x Rosendahl PCH Automatic, inspired by the iconic Pacific Coast Highway and the Fisker-designed cars that drive along it. This collaboration is with Danish designer Henrik Fisker, well known for creating the classic BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9. Its 44mm round stainless steel case sits comfortably on your wrist thanks to the 21mm integrated bracelet with a distinctive taper towards the screwed lugs. Its curvaceous flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 13mm, giving the watch an impressive presence on the wrist. On the right side, a hobnail-textured, signed crown is recessed into the case for protection. The wide stainless steel bezel features hex screw detailing and engraved 12-hour Arabic numerals filled in black, supporting a domed sapphire crystal that sits above a black dial engraved through the centre with PCH, a nod to the California North-South Pacific Coast Highway, where Fisker resides. A wide chapter ring features baton indexes filled with lume, complemented by a minute track that marks the hours. At 3 o’clock, a colour-matched date window, the thick lumed hour and slender minute hand are complemented by a red tapered sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the Fisker logo, ‘Automatic’ printed in white, and at 6 o’clock, the Rosendahl motif completes this distinctive sports watch. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back, engraved with the details of the watch around its edge, houses an automatic ETA Cal. 2892, 21 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour. Its bidirectional rotor is decorated with the cities along the California north-south Pacific Coast Highway. It comes paired with its full-sized 21mm integrated, brushed and polished stainless steel screw-link bracelet, secured by a concealed butterfly clasp. This watch is sold with its original Henrik Fisker x Rosendahl box, the inner box is flaking and the paperwork.
