Here we have a curvaceous 2000s Hermès Kepler Chronograph Automatic KP1.910 with a polished 39mm stainless steel case that comfortably curves over your wrist with thick sculpted flared lugs. The smooth, rounded flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 10.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. Down the right side, we have the long polished chronograph pushers and a signed crown in the centre with deep knurling for grip. A domed, smooth, polished bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal above a crisp white dial. An outer minute chapter ring with lume pips is precisely executed surrounding black outlined Roman numeral indices marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, we have the small seconds; at 6 o’clock, a 12-hour register; and finally, at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute register, each with black numerals and black stick hands, between the four and five, a colour-matched date window. The Hermès Paris motif is found at noon with “Automatic” sitting above the 12-hour register, slender baton hands lume filled are complemented by a tapered chronograph hand, completing this striking sports chronograph. On the reverse, a screwed-down exhibition case back engraved with KP1.910, inside an automatic ETA Cal. 2894-2, 37 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour. This modular chronograph based on the ETA 2892-A2 has a Hermès signed rotor. The watch comes paired with a quality quick-release 20mm Molquin strap secured by a signed pin buckle, plus an additional 20mm leather strap in the box.
