Here we have a 1980s Dubey & Schaldenbrand Triple Calendar Moonphase Chronograph with a 37mm 18ct Yellow Gold round case and coin edge detailing, beautifully sculpted lug tubes holding a hinged hoop for you to attach a strap, and a lug-to-lug length of 46.5mm and a case thickness of 15mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. Down the right side, you find chronograph pushers and a crown in the centre; on the left, you find an indented pusher. A smooth stepped bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal above an eggshell white dial, an outer date ring in blue ink surrounds a minute track precisely executed with a Yellow Gold dagger and “3” indexes marking the hours, at 12 o’clock we have a 30-minute register, inside a day/month window, at 6 o’clock a 12-hour register, inside a moonphase crescent and finally at 9 o’clock a small seconds and a 24-hour register in blue ink, two hands indicate the relevant scale. The handset consists of Yellow Gold Alpha hands, a blue crescent-tipped hand indicating the date and a fine, tapered chronograph hand.
