Here we have a quintessential 1970s Sorna Chronograph World Time with its distinctive funky 46mm chrome case that sits on your wrist like a cushion. The 45 mm lug-to-lug length and 14 mm case thickness ensure a comfortable fit. On the right side, we have the chronograph pushers. The crown in the centre sets the date and time. On the left side, the top crown rotates the inner timing bezel, and the bottom crown rotates the world time disc. Its rotating bezel has a black Telemeter and silver Tachymeter scales, holding a domed crystal above this colourful grey and red dial. A rotating world time disc in red and blue surrounds a 60-minute dive scale with the first 15 minutes highlighted, the white minute track has thick batons marking the hours; at 3 o’clock, we have a round date window; at 6 o’clock, a running seconds register and finally at 10 o’clock a 15-minute register each with a tapered red hand, slender baton hands are complemented by a tapered red chronograph hand, off centre we have the Sorna Chrono motif and “17 Jewels” completing this unapologetically 1970s world time chronograph.
