1970s Heuer Chronosplit GMT Manhattan Quartz 104.403
Here we have a funky 1970s Heuer Chronosplit GMT Manhattan Quartz 104.403 introduced in 1977 with its unusual coffin-shaped stainless steel case that seamlessly sits on your wrist thanks to the integrated bracelet. The soft rounded edges lead to the top edge labelled digital pushers, on the left side a recessed pusher for setting the quartz display and at 6 oâclock a crown to set the GMT analogue dial and date. A slim bezel holds a flat crystal above the Chronosplit dial. A digital display shows the time, split-time chronograph, and date. The lower recessed section holds the analogue GMT dial, an outer minute track with Tritium pips and stick indexes marking the hours, and a round date window at 4 o'clock. White baton hands are complemented by a white second hand. âChronosplit GMTâ and âManhattanâ are printed in white, completing this unapologetically best-of-both-worlds 1970s sports GMT. On the reverse a screwed-down solid case back, inside an early Quartz Cal. 107 / ESA 935.102 developed by Citizen. The watch comes paired with its 21mm integrated brushed stainless steel tapered bracelet secured by a signed folding clasp, will fit up to a 7-inch wrist and comes with its Tag Heuer instruction booklet.
