On the right side is a coin-edged push/pull crown. A smooth bezel holds a domed crystal above a dial. An outer quarter of the hour scale surrounds a minute track precisely executed; Arabic and triangle indices mark the hours, slender sword hands are complemented by a red tapered second hand and a blue arrow hand indicating the alarm; at 12 o’clock, we have the alarm on/off indicator hole, applied Lanco-Fon and 17 Jewels printed underneath, at 6 o’clock “Shock Resistant.” On the reverse, a solid case back with Lanco-Fon engraved in the centre, inside a manually wound Lanco Cal. 1241, 17 jewels, beating at a leisurely 18,000 beats per hour.
