Here, we have a classic 1950s Orfina Chronograph Oversized Pushers Venus 175 with a curvaceous 36mm round stainless steel Brevet made case that curves over your wrist with tapered drilled lugs. The lug-to-lug length is 41.5mm, and the case thickness is 12.5mm, ensuring a comfortable fit. Down the right side, we have the oversized pushers and a large coin-edged crown in the centre. The stepped smooth bezel holds a domed crystal above a bicompax dial. An outer Tachymeter scale surrounds a Telemetric scale in black, and a minute track is precisely executed. Radium pips and Radium-coated 12 and 6 indexes mark the hours. At 3 o’clock, a 30-minute register and at 9 o’clock, a running seconds, slender thermally blued syringe hands filled with Radium are complemented by a thermally blued chronograph hand. At 12 o’clock, we have the Orfina motif completing this vintage racing sports timepiece. On the reverse, a screw-down case back, inside a manually wound Venus Cal. 175, 17 jewels, beating at a leisurely 18,000 beats per hour, this iconic column wheel chronograph was manufactured from 1942 until 1960.
